Soprano Rumi Yano is a graduate of the Nagoya University of Music and has appeared frequently in various solo recitals, operas, and musicals. She has performed in such events as the Sino-Japanese Cultural Festival and the 27th Japanese Cultural Festival in Singapore. In 2000, she participated with pipa master Tu Shan Xiang on his world tour during which she performed in many famous concert halls including New York’s Carnegie Hall.
