Danielle Palomares, coloratura soprano, recently received her Master of Music degree from UCLA. In June Danielle performed in Handel’s L'Allegro, il Penseroso ed il Moderato, staged by James Darrah at the Clark Library in Los Angeles under the baton of maestro Stephen Stubbs. In April she performed at UC Irvine and the Hammer Museum as a vocalist for UCLA’s Sonnets and Sonatas, a French concert-lecture series. Earlier in the year Danielle performed the role of Donna Anna in the UCLA production of Don Giovanni, and in 2013 she performed the title role in Wolf-Ferrari’s Il Segreto di Susanna while attending UCLA on a full scholarship as a Graduate Opportunity Fellow. In April 2013 Danielle was additionally selected as the soprano soloist in Mahler’s Fourth Symphony with the UCLA Philharmonia.


Danielle holds a Bachelor of Music from the University of California, Irvine. At UC Irvine she starred as Monica in Gian Carlo Menotti’s The Medium, Gertrude in Hansel and Gretel, and was a soloist in West Side Story. In 2010 Danielle performed the role of First Lady in Die Zauberflöte at the Amalfi Coast Music Festival in Vietri sul Mare, Italy. She has been asked to perform at several master classes, including classes with Nicole Cabell at the Orange County Performing Arts Center, Frans Boerlage at UC Irvine, and most recently with Tito Capobianco and Eric Owens at UCLA. In 2010 Danielle won the First Place title in the New Century Singer’s vocal competition in Whittier, CA and was recently a reward recipient and Honorable Mention at the California Women’s Chorus Competition in Costa Mesa, CA
