Operatic tenor Nathan Granner (co-founder of operatic duo Gulley/Granner) is recognized throughout the world as a generative, solo, and collaborative artist. His buoyant yet elegant personality shines from the stage and his voice fills the hall with a beautiful, refined lyric timbre that hearkens back to tenors of the golden age of opera.

A Metropolitan Opera National Council Award winner, Granner’s career is blessed with distinctive variety. He is an original member of the Sony Masterworks recording group The American Tenors and has bowed as Nemorino (L'Elisir D'amore) and Ferrando (Cosí fan tutte), at companies including Lyric Opera Kansas City, Opera Theater St. Louis and Wolf Trap Opera. He created the role of Prospero in the world premiere of the award-winning opera Red Death by Bryan Colley and Daniel Doss; sang as Payador in Astor Piazzolla's opera Maria de Buenos Aires at the Teatr Polski, Poland; returned for multiple roles at Amarillo Opera and realized characters in four short operas, one of which garnered his most interesting role to date as that of Kanye West.

Nathan is also a producing artist in live events and recorded media. Through his operatic and musical theater performances, recordings, and performance art installations, Granner is opening the door to classical music for new audiences.

He is also an avid karaoke devotee.
