Zoë Godfrey began her musical career with violin lessons in kindergarten and continued with piano lessons two years later. At the age of 11 she started taking harp lessons after some encouragement from her piano teacher and has focused her efforts on the harp since then. In recent years she participated in an international tour as the principal harpist of the Celestia Harp Ensemble under the direction of Dr. Beverly Wesner-Hoehn, made her orchestral debut as principal harpist with the Auburn Symphony in 2011, and performed as a guest principal harpist with the La Sierra University Orchestra at Walt Disney Concert Hall in summer 2012.

Zoë has been privileged to study with many excellent teachers including French-Australian harpist Sebastien Lipman from whom she received a masterclass lesson. Zoë is currently continuing her studies at La Sierra University as an undergraduate student pursuing degrees in both marketing and music, and she studies the harp with Jacqueline Marshall.

Zoë is passionate about music and about sharing it with others. She recently discovered a love for teaching harp and in 2013 opened a teaching studio with the Academy of Visual and Performing Arts at La Sierra University.

Zoë is the principal harpist for the La Sierra University Orchestra and enjoys performing both as a soloist and a guest orchestra member throughout the Inland Empire.
