Symphony Irvine Welcomes Kate Hamilton (Viola) and Milton Masciadri (Contrabass)

Please join Symphony Irvine in welcoming viola soloist Kate Hamilton and contrabass soloist Milton Masciadri for our upcoming concerts on March 19, 2017 at 2pm (Irvine Civic Center) and March 26, 2017 at 4pm (Laguna Niguel Presbyterian Church). The program will feature three works for these two instruments - Bruch's Romanze for Viola and Orchesta, Bottesini's Fantasia on 'La Sonnambula' for Bass and Orchestra, and Bottesini's Passione Amorosa for Viola, Bass and Orchestra - and the orchestra will conclude with Brahm's Symphony No. 1. Artistic Director Dean Anderson will conduct. Complete information is available on our performance schedule page.

Members of Symphony Irvine will be traveling to New York for a May 27, 2017 performance of Carl Orff's Carmina Burana with the Orange Community Master Chorale, directed by Michael Short, and the Master Chorale of Saddleback Valley, directed by Charles Stephenson. The performance will take place in the world-renowned Carnegie Hall with Michael Short conducting.

For those of you who will not be able to join us in New York, we will have a "preview" performance here in Orange County on May 7, 2017. More details about this performance will be presented here as they become available.
